304 / 304L STAINLESS STEEL COIL & SHEET

304/304L stainless sheet  coil and sheet is part of the austenitic family of stainless steel. 304 grades contain a lower level of carbon than 302 and 304/304L has a lower carbon level than straight grade 304. Types 304 and 304L have very good drawability and excellent corrosion resistance in chemical, textile, petroleum and food industry exposure.

A wide range of sizes in 304/304L stainless certified to AMS 5511, ASTM A 240, and ASTM A 666.

Applications:

  • Architectural
  • Kitchen Equipment
  • Pharmaceutical processing equipment
  • Chemical processing equipment

304 POLISHED STAINLESS STEEL COIL & SHEET

304/304L polished stainless sheet coil and sheet is part of the austenitic family of stainless steel. 304 grades contain a lower level of carbon than 302 and 304/304L has a lower carbon level than straight grade 304. Types 304 and 304L have very good drawability and excellent corrosion resistance in chemical, textile, petroleum and food industry exposure.  No. 4 polished surface is a non-reflective brushed finish obtained by course grinding followed by finishing with a 120-150 mesh abrasive. This general purpose bright finish has a visible grain to prevent mirror reflection.  Polished surfaces are easy to clean, ensuring a minimum foothold for dirt, bacteria and corrosive substances.

Wide range of sizes in 304/304L stainless certified to AMS 5511, ASTM A 240, and ASTM A 666.

Applications:

  • Architectural
  • Kitchen Equipment
  • Decorative applications

316 / 316L STAINLESS STEEL COIL & SHEET

316/316L stainless steel coil and sheet is part of the austenitic family of stainless steel. 316 grades contain a higher level of Nickel than 304 giving it an improved corrosion resistance over 304 grades.  316/316L sheet possesses excellent mechanical properties at sub-zero temperatures and good corrosion resistance making it a great choice for marine applications.

Only dual certified 316/316L grade sheet certified to ASTM A240 AND ASME SA240 SA666 SA480.

Applications:

  • Chemical
  • Marine
  • Petrochemical
  • Machined parts

321 STAINLESS STEEL COIL & SHEET

321 stainless steel coil and sheet is part of the austenitic family of stainless steel. 321 is basically a 304 grade containing a stabilizer of titanium. Type 321 is a good choice for applications where heat is an issue. 321 can be used in applications up to 900 degrees Celsius where 304 is normally used up to 500 degrees Celsius. Grade 321 has excellent forming and welding characteristics. It does not polish well so would not be used for decorative applications.

Wide range of sizes in 321 stainless certified to AMS 5510, ASTM A 240, and SA 666

Applications:

  • Aircraft exhaust manifolds
  • Expansion joints
  • Furnace parts
  • Heating element tubing
  • Heat exchangers

410 STAINLESS STEEL COIL & SHEET

410 stainless steel coil and sheet is part of the martensitic family of stainless steel. 410 stainless can be hardened by quench and temper heat treatment. Generally this material is supplied in the hardened but machinable state where moderate heat and corrosion resistance are required. 410 is the most widely used of the martensitic family and is comparable to 4130 except it is more corrosion resistant. 410 stainless is heat resistant up to 650 degrees Celsius.

Applications:

  • Nuts and bolts
  • Screws
  • Pump and valve parts
  • Steam and gas turbine parts
  • Mine ladder rungs

430 STAINLESS STEEL COIL & SHEET

430 stainless steel coil and sheet is a ferritic, low carbon stainless steel.  It has good corrosion resistance in a mildly corrosive environment and good oxidation resistance at elevated temperatures. 430 has limited weldability and edge welds are not recommended. 430 has excellent polishing characteristics and is used in a variety of decorative applications.

A wide range of sizes in 430 stainless certified to ASTM A240, A480, and SA 666

Applications:

  • Household appliances
  • Metal molding
  • Metal Trim
  • Cabinet Hardware
  • Hinges
